What URL can I go to get myself a Google API account? While the sites point to "easy steps" and talk, I can not understand it.
Background:
There are places on the Web that offer Google services if you give them your Google API account key (in my case and index recovery).
They say, to go to, but it only redirects me to "get easy directions" to get an account.
Am I getting mad here? (I have analytics and webmaster tools enabled, so I know what I'm doing).
