java - Can apache FileUtils.writeLines() be made to append to a file if it exists -

Commons looks great, and I can not believe they can not be made to add to a file is.

  file file = new file (path); FileUtils.writeLines (File, PrintStats, New DateTime));  

The content of the above files is changed every time, and I would just like to tag this stuff to end this code as it does this code.
