Launch JVM process from a Java application use Runtime.exec? -

I start a Java server process from an existing Java application and monitor stdoutput and stderror and redirect that output. Want to be able Runtime to a file 'runtime. XAC is the best way to use and treat the app like any other OS process or something more suitable for new JVM.
