iphone - How to change the text color on UINavigationBar button items -

I have a UI controller and I change it to white in the interface builder using the tint property of the navigation bar Have given. But the text in the button and the title is still the default color is white, and therefore is lost against white background, no one knows how to work around this?

This is very easy by using UIBarButtonItem appearance as iOS 5 proxy:
