When I install a Linux system on my machine, I do not quite understand the compilation process of the Linux kernel.
Here are some things that confuse me:
- The kernel has been written in C, yet how did the kernel compile without installing the compiler?
- If the compiler is installed on my machine before the kernel is compiled, without the compiler how can the compiler be compiled itself?
Thanks for the response, I was very confused for a few days. The first round of binaries was created for your Linux box on some other Linux box (probably).
Binaries were created on some other platforms for the first Linux system.
Binaries can be found back to the original system for that computer so far on the Other forum was created.

Push it too far, and you were created with more primitive devices induct compilers, which in turn were made on machines other than their hosts.
...
Keep pushing and you make computers so that their instructions can be done
create rules " To make tools, the tool is created "tool ...". Like many other devices running our physical environment, much like it is known as "pulling yourself by booststrip".
