I should be able to open an external URL on my website (both in the browser) and in the source) I do not want them To make a copy of the URL and edit the query string for its search. Is there a way to open the URL in iframe, or something like this, and hide its source / mask?
This is an ASP.NET 2.0 website.
Can you do the following:
- accept the parameter from the user Please.
- A webpage or backend process that uses PDF to download it in the temporary store.
- Then the client should stream it, so they do not know about the URL where the PDF is ready? (Or just streaming directly, without downloading temporarily.)
In such a way, users will never know about other sites, and it should be more secure.
Also use some assumptions / authentication so that users are unable to change the criteria passed to recover PDFs of other users.
