If you easily design a distributed app for a scale-out, or you use any new "cloud" Contributing "Computing" by Amazon, Google or Microsoft, some of the common concepts or components you usually end up using:
- Distributed Blob Storage (aka S3)
- Asynchronous, durable message queue (aka SQLS)
- Non-relational- / non-
- CDN (Content Delivery Network like Akamai)
- ul>
Now when architecture using such structures If it comes to design and sketch, can any commonly used symbols be used? Or is there a download with some cool Vicio stencils? :) This is not a formal system like UML, but I think it would be great if all the symbols are symbols to understand and understand, like we usually have diagrams or drawings for documents Used, for example, for example. I think it is important not to mix it with conventional concepts like traditional file system (local or network server / SAN) or relational database.
In just words, I just want to make some conclusions about the scalability or data association issues of an application by looking at the system architecture overview diagram.
Update: Thanks a lot for your reply I liked the idea of putting a small "cloud symbol" on traditional symbols. However, if I leave this thread only in the open, then a person will get special symbols (perhaps in either book) - or some people upload the Visco stencil;)
edit February 2014 < / Strong> ==> There is a more complete set of recent releases by Microsoft: Use it for Windows Azure now He is the best option.
