Before long, game developer magazine published an article about id software and their dome game. Article ID says that they have used a Next step machine for development with the GNU GCC cross compiler. Quote:
By typing in ANSI C in NextSpeech, ID software is capable of developing and testing in the environment of a true programmer. Then, using a network, developers can send a code to DOS running a test PC and can recompile the work they are doing to play the game on their natural environment.
The next phase developed in Koko, and other OS have grown with other UI frameworks, GTKs, QTs, MFCs etc.
Saying that a "real development environment" wants the OpenStep project to be developed in the way it can compete with Koko / MFC / GTK / QT?
Looking at only the project screenshots, it shows that the framework stops on time, widgets are not as good as the other frameworks I have said, but the deception is not a software development solution, the OpenStep widgets How is support, maturity and completeness?
