Recently, I started to notice that Visual Studio 2008 is not searching for all instances of a lesson . When I'm looking for the complete solution, it will start looking for files to search for a word, but then at some point, it stops searching other files, and it is sorted between two files, it is very upset , Because I can not find what I am always looking for. In fact, to make things worse, sometimes there is no word to be searched which I know, so I will close the search form, switch the documents, search again and get the word.
Note that in all the above situations, I am looking for the complete solution.
Do anyone have any experience with this? If so, how do you fix it?
It is really upset that it happened with me using VS2003, Upgraded in 2005, so I never tried to fix it I did a search and started here to get you started:
- Run Devenv / resetsettings
- Choose Window Menu -> Reset Window Layout (Not sure why this Will help?)
- Repair VS2008, if it fails then try to reinstall.
