sockets - Why would my java program send multicast packets with a TTL of 1? -

I have a Java client program that uses MDN with service discovery to find its related server I Windows, After more testing on a network with Fedora 10 and Ubuntu 8.10, we gave a customer a test build. They report that customers and servers are never connected, they have sent us a Wirehair Capture which shows that TTL is 1 in the MDN packet, even if our code is set to 32. When we test locally, TTL is 32 as we set it up. Customer is using RihAT Enterprise 5.

I saw, but it leaves me anxiously why that questioner has TTL of 0, but my 1 is.

Did you see the answer? It can also correct your problem. Answer is the reference of the respondent.
