Through my job, I can get cheap WiMax, but the bandwidth limit will be 200 MB / month
I often work on personal programming projects on the train to work. For this, I do not usually need web access and even when I need access; This is usually for those pages that I have already seen.
Is there a way to cache my web visits in such a way that is relatively transparent? I am thinking of a caching proxy.
I want to be able to tell:
-
Everything from the cache (good if they provide downloadable docs) < / P>
-
Google cache
-
Cache JavaScript, CSS, and images from Gmail and Facebook (probably updated
< / Li> -
Block YouTube completely (bandwidth hog)
thoughts?
Do derived caches fit your bill?
