SharePoint/MOSS - Deleting other people's un-checked-in items from a list -


A simple scenario:

I want to delete a pagelayout which is in our Moss publishing site. A former colleague has created a new page using this page layout and has not checked it. I can not remove the pagalout because its file refers to it. I can not 'see' the file because it has not been checked in to delete it.

I have tried the SPO Folder. ITEM, SPLIT GetItimBiID (), methods of other object models but SharePoint will not just show me that item. I have also poked around SPList. GetItem (New SPQuery) (Include AllUserPermissions = true;})

Anyone know how to get rid of this item? : -)

If you are a site collection administrator, you can also check the other person The checkout file is that you have to know what this library is. If you know that you can navigate in that library, then do the following things:

  1. Settings -> Click on the document Permissions and Management
    2. < / Li>
  2. / Strong> Column
  3. Now You should see a list of checked out files, which you can choose, then click on Take ownership selection in the toolbar
  4. Once you do this , Then you have the files in itself Nc can.
