osx - OS X: How do I leverage Apple's "Assitive Tools" API to watch keyboard input? -

I want to create something similar to TextExpander - a macro program that looks at the keyboard for a certain combination of keystroke, and Then it changes the text you just entered with a snippet. What do I mean, you type "- EXPANDO" and it changes with "GE is not expanded text snippet" I know that you Assistant services should hook into the API, but I feel Confirms that any simple source can not seem to jump from the code, and I could find, instead of all documents about existing tools accessible, support equipment itself.

Indicators of the source code will be most welcome, but a link to the expected API documentation will be a good start!

I have come since January 2008, which mentions that using an accessibility API, writing an important logger Will be easy

This functionality should be less than half the basic functionality you need (in other half the current text will have to inject the expanded text).
