Calling a Webservice with ASP.NET AJAX Clientside-only Script from a ASP.NET MVC App? -

I'm looking for a basic example which states that I come with ASP to serve a webservice with client-side javascript How can i call Net Ajax Toolkit

I have already found some examples that explain how you do it with ASP.NET webform, but I am using ASP.NET MVC so that no fancy script manager for me Ho. (

If you have control of this service and if this is possible then Through webHTP bindings, you can highlight as a rest interface. WCF. Then use jQuery for service query.
