asp.net - What role does the file "iis.config" play in the running of a web application on IIS? -

We have recently completed the development of a web application which works relatively well when we have handed it over to the Ops team , Then they lacked a bit because we did not provide the "iis.config" file. What is this file? What does it do?

EDIT: This shows a proprietary file for our internal operations monitoring program or something my bad.

I've never heard of it personally.

Perhaps they mean any type of export of IIS metabase?

I want to go back to them and honestly say, "what is meant by IIS.com,

If such a file is commonly present then they should be" iis.config "
