The XML Browser Engine claims to be able to render the XHLR within Flash Objects. Does anyone have any experience in using this capability or can they offer alternative solutions?
The last time I checked, all the informal flash based render engines were completely off. You can get a cover for some Java Applet Library or Gecko engine (it uses a Firefox). Java FX promises to release a webkit component (an engine used by Safari and Chrome), in the future release, as a webkit component named Jebvan.
If you are building a desktop application with Adobe Air, then you have a local solution, in which the HTMLLoader class is displayed.
