Can I use Silverlight in an ActiveX Control? -

I would like to create an ActiveX control that uses Silverlight, is it possible / sensible and does anyone have it for Is a sample code?

I am working in a legacy (non-web) system that can not directly access WPF / Silverlight controls but the system can access ActiveX controls. It is thought that we have an ActiveX control in the serial light May be able to host, and so can update the dated UI instead of us.
