WPF Layer Control -

I need a WPF layer control that does the following

1) There are several layers each other Of the material on top of

2) Ability to turn on / off the layers on the design and runtime, that is, we need a UI which is like some tabbed controls

3) Move layers up / down Pile

4) Change the ambiguity for layers

Now I know that all the above mentioned in XML / WPF is possible. I've coded a simple version using the grid, in which many cells at the design time, 1 cell = 1 layer and only one cell on the runtime, all the cells are merged together. The thing was that it was a bachelor, I was not given design time control, which I wanted, all the controls ended with a single parent, ugly. Nobody has to shut down the shelf, or the part is working - if not I'll codify the correct code and share it on codepeak.

I'm sure I'm not the only person there, this functionality is needed, am I?

With our previous client, we completed it using canvas. The application was a 'CAD' like nature, so our layers were responsible for the graphical representation of the domain.

I do not know that at this time the tools of a third party have been fulfilled.

I think the argument for this is that when you are looking for this functionality, then the domain & amp; application.

If you were going to build your control then I would encourage creating a custom control to manage the argument, then allow others to see and feel. This problem will be higher than the WPF method of approaching.

In this way, if a consumer wants to use canvas, then you can do so if you want to use the grid.

If you have any psuedo code that you want to do, then I can see that my old POC needs your help. Or if you want to start the codeplex project, then I will not have to contribute.

This is just 2 cents
