I have an Excel spreadsheet that counts many to come up with a certain figure based on 4 cells. I have been tasked to convert this spreadsheet to a widget that can be embedded in a web application.
Is there an easy way to display or understand the formula embedded in the Excel spreadsheet, so that I have an easy time changing the action script?

If I understand you correctly tool | Options | Check the Windows option and then the formula box. It will show the formula instead of the values and it should open the Formula Olding tool bar. Those devices you want you like.
