I am looking for a script that takes a working copy of a CVS module, a required "cvs add" and " Remove CVS "command, and everything does the final result is that the repository copy is cured like a copy working copy
I think I saw something like this before, but I did not find it on Google. Is there anyone like a script that they have used? I know that I can run "CVS-NQ Update" and I can parse the results myself, and in the same way what I will do. But there are all kinds of CVS strange edge issues, so I already want to find a test script if it exists.
I wrote something similar to the macro, for which the bundle comes with it. You can call it macros cvs. The branch / trunk can be found under the copy ...
This will prompt you for a branch name to copy the current selection (leave blank if you want to copy it to the trunk ) And then mentioned all your remarkable preparation except the final commitment.
I had used it in my own time only, but it has been so far for two years and I use '
====== :
- P> Select one or more CVS controlled files or folders.
Macro | Run the macro from the CVS menu.
If you want to copy to
HEAD, enter the name of the branch that you want to copy to selection or just press OK.======= Incorrect (This result was "Added independently by another party" error message). It is usually better to use a macro on a directory selection.
An
update -Pin a .cvsrc file might possibly mess up the entertainment of folders, so I explicitly .cvsrc I disable the use of and definitely set the compression on-z7(the proper IMO). All other. Cvsrc options will be lost.
