ms office - Trapping MouseOver, of an object in PowerPoint -

Can I trace the mouseover to any object in PowerPoint?

In my PowerPoint addin, I want to be able to know when the mouse is on that object. Objects are not active, they are manufactured in standard objects (images, etc.) for any powerpoint.

I need to do this in the design mode of presentation, not in run / presentation mode.
