Sometimes I have to do some profiling on Java code, and I would like to know why my boss should be checked in one Just as a commercial profiler to oppose using Netbeans or any of the Jaconol?
What are the characteristics of the killer that warrants the investment?
I have experience using both Netbeans Profiler and JPorp. I found Netbeans very useful for display profiling, but where JPP is excellent for memory profiling.
Japarobe is the best tool to compare heap snapshots and discover the underlying cause of memory leakage. For example, in JPRob you can see the size of the pile size visually in the form of a graph, select the nodes to check, and then remove the references to see that the example can be collected as garbage is.
