I'm looking to apply a very basic shopping cart that looks like a lot of applications < / Strong> and additional content that I do not need. I've heard that others have mentioned what someone has tried this Django app (django-cart)? Anything to see or any other experience?
Well, if you want to use the Dengig-Cart, then you should see it's own development Last commitment to the project as a starting point for (R4) was November 2006.
By comparison, Sechem's last conviction (R1922) was a few hours earlier.
With Seocho you get the code which is under active development and is actually used by real e-commerce sites.
If you develop your own then you are running the risk of alienating customers and losing money. If you use Sechemo, you can spend more time in developing / improving other areas of your site.
I'm sure you can predict my recommendation in advance :)
Satchmo for apps and other things I can tell you from a personal experience, you can call them all There is no need to include INSTALLED_APPS settings. I do not remember how I was driving it down, but my INSTALLED_APPS had only 6-7 Satchmo apps and all those I needed I think they have done even more modulation since then.
