lisp - Learning Clojure without Java Knowledge -

OK, so I'm psyched about another list. I found myself a copy of Beta Closer programming book. .

And the one thing that I'm paying the most attention is to recognize that I know ... like all the major Java classes.

Except, generally, I really do not care about Java. I just want enough knowledge for it that Closer is an option for me.

To know about any suggestions that I need it all?

My main recommendation for me, you have already completed the programming closure I have done for years and more Over the years, Java touted and hated, and (programming) Closer rehabilitated it sufficiently that the language now excites me who has thought that a famous powerful system will interact with you at (map # (getName% ) (.getMethods (class ""))) ? For an exploration of the style that is familiar with "Em", Ruby , look through "Working with Java, adding 3.5 ant Projects and Lansets to Work"

If you also get #closures, ## get in Java and keep it simple. Find something on the web for one that you want to do and translate it more or less directly.

Edit: On clj:
