development environment - Maximize and multiple monitors -

I write software for users with many monitors and I need design based on this assumption that usually Users will maximize the window for each monitor instead of "hand shaping"

Recently I have seen that although there are two "schools" in terms of use of many monitors. "Maximize" is a school and then "school of shape" which is never higher than the school.

Just curious by reading this from multi-monitor users, how many people are made versus manually? I want to know what platform you are on (Mac vs. Vs. Vs. * Nick).

EDIT: I think this is a valid survey from a design perspective.

I basically maximize everything , and since I started using Windows in 3.11 days. In fact, until I was upgraded again to 1600x1200 LCD a year ago, I did not feel that I was finally able to maximize every window , and there was more than 1 window at a time. Generally my programming IDE is maximized in a single display, and maximizes a web browser or any type of document or document on the other.

I actually have "max" and "at least" mouse, only the front and back of the scroll wheel, and the "ctrl-tab" and "alt-tab" bondage in the buttons by my thumb. They are an amazing productivity enhancement.
