I tried to open a Java bug previous Halloween I got an immediate reply that my submission was accepted, and later Have not heard anything. Seeing Sun Web pages, I could not find any contact information, where I ask. About two weeks ago I seem to be in the most suitable area and there is no response in it.
Has anyone successfully reported the non-bug report to long suns -response? Does anyone know that whom can I contact to know the current status of my bug report?
What is the cost of it, the internal review ID has been given to me 1380005.
Edit, added later:
For the curious: What's the bug? Java Web Start Client, when downloading JAR files (or something else), always with a if-modified-from
header (with "time-date equivalent" Code)> 1 "- midnight 1-1-19 seconds before 1 second - whether the Java cache is blank or full) and always adds a no-cache
header note: This is the customer side which provides the no-cache
header!
While submitting a bug report I have mixed results. I've sent a lot of bug reports / RFE related to the java.util.regex
package; They always used to appear in public databases within a few weeks, and usually my satisfaction To solve it very quickly, but this is probably because the regex package is small and largely contained itself. I've also submitted bug reports related to some inclination, and they always carry the age for If they have gone at all
But I'm getting two things that I can do to speed things up: Post questions about insects, and submit patch. It was the last time, but has been a year or more, but there were real workers who participated in those actual forums, and if they saw merit in their bug report, they could shepherd it through the system - especially if You have submitted the patch
