Only a shell script that makes all the statements and imports in the proper order. You can find (comes with rail) Interesting, it provides a form like the infrastructure, that you maintain a database whose structure develops over time.
You add a new column to some tables. In the migration you wanted to write a snippet of code that describes the requirements for adding columns and rollbacking the changes so that you can automatically switch to different versions of your schema.
I'm not a big fan of tight integration with the rail, though, but the principles behind it are very interesting
