oledb - Excel Expert: need a good solution to fill some data into a complex excel sheet -

I'm having a problem

Required, a complex Excel file (XLS) The experiment is used as a template; It has macros and all worksheets are either closed or hidden. When the user clicks to download it, the operation is as follows

• Unlock a specific worksheet, fill some data on certain cells and then lock it back.
• Showing a worksheet,

I think there are two options to solve it (if you have more then please let me know)

1. Interop library / Excel object library

2. OLEDb driver

I do not have option 1 As Excel can not be found, Excel is not installed on the webserver and I have heard that it is not a good option to install MSOffice @ webserver.

My question is, can we use OLDb to fulfill the above mentioned tasks or any other option ??? The BTW SharePoint service is also not available :(
