svn - How do I copy my entire working copy between hard drives? -

Whenever I try to copy a whole work using two simple drag and drop between two computers (eg To get a new one from the old computer, or from one VM to the other) to avoid downloading the entire GB set of code from our online store, I get an error when accessing any hidden SVN-base files .

Is there any way to copy the entire working copy with these intact?

I am using Vista x64.

I can not reply to Vista, but on XP you only copy the directory.

I think Vista has decided that the files are hidden and therefore it is not required to be copied, or they are locked and are not available to copy. In the past, try to stop the TortoiseSVN cache on them, afterwards, on them (in the Organize menu of Explorer, folders and search options, with global file options under the View tab), which may be on them.

Or try Xcopy from the command prompt.
