Recently I bought a notebook that came with Windows Home Basic (which is available with ASP.NET / IIS I thought about upgrading the Windows version to ASP.NET / IIS in one, but I thought in another possibility:
I have a hard disk case with 360 GB HD. I thought of creating a virtual machine with Windows Ultimate (ASP.NET, IIS and Visual Installing Studio 2008 also) In this HD case, I can use my "development winderment" in any computer on which I will work (my desktop machine and my notebook).
But I was concerned about the performance. I do not have the experience of working in virtual machines (I use it for quick compatibility tests).
Do you use virtual machines as your primary
Thank you for your reply! It really helps me!
< P> I also want to know about portability ie, virtual machine which I create ad in the work of my laptop in the desktop? Do I need to activate windows again?
Working with a virtual machine is okay unless you have both operating systems There is ample RAM.
You should also be aware that there are some limitations of the virtual machine when it comes to supporting the graphic card, so you want to make sure that whatever you are developing, that feature Not dependent on what is available on your virtual machine.
