I am communicating with RS232 with Logic Analyzer (HP 1660A). I issue an order which sends the analyst to the screen on his display and through the serial communication to the controller (my PC). I am saving the results to my computer (which is usually abut 25kB) and I want to see it as TIFF or another format. The problem is that the analyst's response comes in PCL format, so it is advisable to be sent to a printer and printed directly, but should not be opened in the form of an image. I have tried some PCL for image converters to work, I found one that does it properly, although I have used the trial version and I am reluctant to buy it. I have given you the background of your labor. Any kind of help would be appreciated, a reference to the commands given in PCL1 and how to remove the data and form it properly with the PCL file Should. I have no experience with PCL and image processing, please, please give me one hand. Thank you.
P.S. I have received the PCL file from the analyzer in C # and matlab ... I have a slight problem in C # with serial port control, some images have some uncontrolled characters in the image, when I use the above converters Say all because I need an algorithm or some sign, no matter programming language, so please feel free to post. PCL is complicated to read
There is only a handful of tools which do a good job of this . We have a lot of PCL expertise and still look at others to supply conversions in PDFs and other formats. If the PCL is quite simple, then it is possible that only text, some fonts and one graphic or two can handle some regx command text extraction and then you can create a new document using whatever device you want. .
It may be difficult to see these files in StackHowflow if you can take them to an FTP and post a link so I can take a quick look and post my findings / ideas here. I can do The second option is to look at an external device. There are some who have had success with us. Our needs are extensive so I sit on one that works best with many different PCL streams (some PCL coding better than others). As you are working with a known quantity of PCL, you can have some options.
(they have a GUI viewer and full SDK)
(Command Line Tool) Here are some people we have used and have achieved some success (as per usability )
And many tons of macros that kneel it down.
Edit: We are currently working with Linked PDF (). This is also a great advantage with an excellent product, deployment is simple. Some of the other tools are complex software installations. This solution is very easy to deploy as a facility in an application. At least with PCL we generate from our app which is quite complex because it includes special fonts and macros).
